Create unforgettable memories while enjoying 60-miles of wide, soft sandy beach. Pack your beach towels, a sheet and/or beach chairs so you don't have to rent them. Wake up early in the morning and run along the ocean shore to take in the fresh, salty air or take a leisurely stroll searching for shells. It's good for your body, mind and soul! Want to sleep in instead? Grab your chair, sit down, let your toes sink into the warm sand, and relax in the afternoon while listening to the soothing waves roll in.
BROADWAY AT THE BEACH
Broadway at the Beach, a 350-acre outdoor entertainment and shopping complex in the heart of Myrtle Beach, surrounds a man-made lake. There, you can find everything you wish. From savory restaurants and family-friendly dining, to live entertainment theaters and exciting nightlife - you name it; you got it! If you think you will get lost, don't worry, there are big maps all around Broadway to guide you to each location. All summer long, enjoy Broadway's Great American Summer Nights Entertainment Series! From stilt walkers, fire dancers, acoustic performers, character appearances and more, you don't want to miss a minute of Summer at Broadway! All entertainment is weather permitting. Most Tuesday's and Friday’s at 10 p.m., Broadway even puts on a firework extravaganza!
FESTIVALS AND EVENTS
Join us every year as The Myrtle Beach Area hosts many free events including the Food Truck and Seafood Festivals. These events are huge, extremely popular, and no entry fee is required. Some include free concerts, meet and greets, playgrounds for kids, and much more.
LIVE BANDS AT THE PIER AT GARDEN CITY BEACH
All summer long from 8:30-11:30 p.m. enjoy live music and the ocean breeze at Garden City Beach Pier. Grab a bite at the pier café, open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
FRANKLIN G. BURROUGHS - SIMEON B. CHAPIN ART MUSEUM
Consider visiting the Grand Strand's home for contemporary visual art in all mediums since 1977. The Art Museum has been a showcase for living Southern artists, including Myrtle Beach's own Alex Powers, Dixie Dugan, and Ouida Salvo. Housed in a restored 1920s beach cottage with signature green-striped awnings and a picturesque tea porch, the Museum has 11 galleries with visual art exhibitions changing throughout the year. HORRY COUNTY MUSEUM AND LW PAUL LIVING HISTORY MUSEUM AND FARM
The Horry County Museum in Conway, SC is a free attraction that focuses on the history, pre-history, and natural history of the area. Not far from the museum is the LW Paul Living History Farm where visitors can experience the everyday life of a historic Horry County farm. Free tours are offered every Saturday at 10 a.m.
Enjoy an easy hike through the woods and along a beautiful salt marsh boardwalk at Vereen Memorial Gardens, just south of the North Carolina border in Little River, SC. Visitors are welcome to walk, hike or bike the park with their family and pets. The park is open from dawn to dusk with no cost to enter.
MUSIC ON MAIN CONCERT SERIES
Journey to downtown North Myrtle Beach and delight in the sounds of a live band on Main Street. Families are encouraged to come downtown after work or after a long day on the beach to experience the many restaurants of Main Street, listen to live music, shop, and dance til’ you drop. You can also kick back and unwind in your beach chair right on Main Street. To accommodate golf cart parking, Main Street will be blocked off from Ocean Boulevard to McMillan Real Estate from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. throughout the summer. Concert Location: Horseshoe: 1 WW South Ocean Blvd., North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582. All Concerts are on Thursdays from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. June through September, and admission is FREE. Bring a chair! At Barefoot Landing, enjoy the great outdoors as the temperatures warm up with live music every night through August 28th starting at 7 p.m. at the Dockside Village Amphitheater. Bring a blanket or your lawn chairs and settle in for some free entertainment before or after a delicious dinner out at one of Barefoot Landing’s many restaurants. Looking for a perfect way to unwind after a long day? Uncork the sweeter side of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina at Duplin Winery, makers of America’s favorite Muscadine wine. Kick back with a glass of something cool, sweet and easy, or gather some friends for a wine tasting. Wine tastings (11 am to 6 pm Monday thru Saturday) let you sample at least ten preselected Duplin wines while a guide walks you through the flavors and history of each wine. $15.00 for a deluxe wine tasting which includes a gourmet cheese dip, homemade gourmet crackers, and a glass of wine after the tasting has been completed. NORTH MYRTLE BEACH PARK AND SPORTS COMPLEX
At the Sounds of Summer Concert Series hosted at the NMB Park and Sports Complex, enjoy an evening with your family and friends listening to live music at the amphitheater under the stars. Each concert will feature a different band playing family-friendly music. Bring a beach chair or blanket. For your convenience, snacks and drinks will be available for purchase. Tobacco products, coolers, outside food and beverages are not allowed. Location: NMB Park & Sports Complex at the Sandhills Bank Amphitheater in the McLeod Seacoast Meadow (150 Citizens Circle, Little River, SC 29566). Check website for schedule and more information. Visit the historic fishing village of Murrells Inlet and experience nature along The MarshWalk which offers great views of the saltwater marsh, birds, and beautiful scenery. Home to many waterfront restaurants, music is in the salty air once evening rolls around. The MarshWalk is free to enjoy.

Comedy Cabana Comedy Show
Spice up your Myrtle Beach vacation with a trip to the Comedy Cabana, the best comedy show in the city. MINIATURE GOLF
Known as the mini golf capital of the world, there are over 35 themed miniature golf courses along the Grand Strand with excitement at every hole. Tip: Check the local coupon books and find coupons for savings and hit the course at the discounted hours. Children 2 and under are free at most establishments.
Awesome shells, shark teeth, and more await you at this local favorite. Enjoy a wide beach, nature trails, a fishing pier and more for a $8 or less per-person park admission fee. Pack a picnic, beach pail and shovel. The State Park also offers free children's programs throughout the year. This is also a great place to fish from the pier. Rental gear is available at the pier. SHOPPING
Many stores on Ocean Boulevard offer the best of the beach, from inexpensive sunglasses, beautiful purses, stunning dresses, tropical wear, souvenirs, and painted t-shirts, to family portraits and temporary tattoos. After you're done shopping, relax at some of the most preferred oceanfront pubs and restaurant along the boardwalk.
HELICOPTER RIDES
Only about $20 and you get to see Myrtle Beach from above. The aircraft are maintained to the highest FAA standards, and the pilots are commercially rated with many years of military and civilian experience. All you need is your cool sunglasses and a friend or family member to enjoy the view of beautiful Myrtle Beach.
ADRENALINE
The Slingshot ride, located at 1201 N. Ocean Boulevard welcomes all the tough ones for a ride. The Slingshot Ride operates as a backwards bungee jump and catapults people into the air at heights that will reach up to 180 feet. It will bounce you up and down and upside down while giving you a beautiful view of the Atlantic Coast and Myrtle Beach.
Every day Brookgreen offers a selection of tours, programs, excursions, and exhibits for all ages. Stroll through the gardens on a guided tour or explore these beautiful spaces on your own. Walk the Lowcountry Trail and experience some of the area's history; then it's on to the Zoo with native animals in their natural habitats. Beautiful gardens, rich historical sites, world-renowned art collection, amazing animals, and gracious southern hospitality tempt you to return again and again, which is one of the reasons the admission is good for seven consecutive days. Located at 1931 Brookgreen Drive, Murrells Inlet, SC, on Highway 17 between Murrells Inlet and Pawleys Island. Admission tickets are valid for seven consecutive days and children 3 and under are FREE when accompanied by an adult. Frequently sells out so book early.
La Belle Amie Vineyard
La Belle Amie Vineyard is an operating vineyard open to the public located in Little River. The Vineyard is a popular attraction for visitors and hosts many popular festivals throughout the year. Vineyard guests are invited into the wine tasting room to sample the private label wines and a variety of gourmet foods. Free entertainment daily. Saturday Festivals require paid admission.
MYRTLE BEACH PELICANS BASEBALL
Peanuts and baseball anyone? Myrtle Beach's boasts their very own minor league baseball team, the Pelicans, an affiliate of the Chicago Cubs. The Myrtle Beach Pelicans games are an affordable and fun way to spend a spring and summer evening. Once you get in the gate, something special is always happening at the ballpark. There's a kids’ zone play area on the grounds and fantastic fireworks shows at the end of several home games, as well as free promotions and giveaways.
